Home-cooked Lunch Bento for Two: Saba Fillet, Brussels Sprouts, Honey Tomatoes, and Portobello Mushroom with Melted Mozarella, on Elbow Pasta, dressed with Tsuyu Sauce, Sesame Oil, Coarse Sea Salt and Black Pepper. Went very well with Wasabi and Soya Sauce!
Home-cooked Saba (Mackerel) Fillet (marinated with Mirin, Light Soya Sauce, White Vinegar, Sesame Oil, Chilli Padi, Coarse Sea Salt and Black Pepper), with Boiled Potatoes, Shiitake Mushrooms, Honey Tomatoes, and a Soft-Boiled Egg. It’s my first time cooking fish (in a microwave oven no less!) and I do proclaim this a tasty SUCCESS!!
Thank you, Amanda, the amazing yoga-teacher extraordinaire fresh from her Greece-Istanbul trip, for supporting and buying a copy of our “Show Me Manila!” book! :) I’m still figuring out how to do overseas payment and shipment, but anyone interested in getting the book too, do email me for details at: email@example.com :)
Arriving at The Amazing Noovilu Guesthouse in Mahibadhoo, Maldives, on 15 Aug 2014. We found this lovely and affordable place, located right next to the beach with a great sunset view, through Airbnb! (at Amazing Noovilu Guesthouse)
Still at the Maldives airport waiting for the speedboat transfer to our guesthouse, which turned up 3 hours later due to a miscommunication, on the first day of our arrival. At least we had this view while waiting… (15 Aug 2014) (at Maldives)
